My name is Rena...I am a makeup artist in the Portland, Oregon area as well as being a very proud single mother to two amazingly beautiful daughters!
I started this blog because everyone has a voice. Although not everyone always has someone to listen to their voice - even though sometimes you just need to get it off your chest...ya know? So I started it so I would have somewhere to speak my opinions, share what I know about, what I love, and connect with people all at the same time.
I mean really who doesn't love blogs? The most interesting thing could be on a blog. Not to mention you can spill your guts about how you feel...it's an amazing feeling having a voice <3

Got an AMAZING deal at Walgreen’s yesterday!
All Sinful Colors nail polish was on sale for $0.99/Each! I got lots of colors and my daughter even picked one out! I got -
#113 Dream On (It’s a purple color)
#108 Timbleberry (It’s a pinkish almost peach color)
#953 Unicorn (It’s a yellow!)
#831 Hottie (It’s a glittery blue, it’s gorgeous!)
#923 Queen of Beauty (It’s a silver, sparkle!)
#101 Snow me white (White obviously)
#103 Black on black (Black!)
#933 Secret admirer (Black with sparkles)
I also got bobby pins on sale - $5.99/each but on sale Buy1Get1 FREE! So all together I paid just about $2.99 each for a total of 350 bobby pins in each case!
I also went over to Rite Aid and picked up a gain dish soap for only $0.38!! It was on sale for 0.88 and I had a 0.50 off coupon! AMAZING!

This is a 60 color palette I bought from Bitchslap Cosmetics!
I love it - But you have to make sure to use a good base/primer underneath or else the colors aren’t very bright..
Another TIP - If you don’t own or can’t afford a good primer - Just use white eyeshadow! It definately helps the colors POP!

Coupons = My slight addiction
Coupons are like free money so why not be addicted to something that combines my two favorite things (free & money!)
So I just wanted to let you in on some tips & secrets to my money saving success!
First - The Sunday paper! I only subscribe to one, but you can subscribe to mulitple papers for double, tripple, etc… coupons.. Or just head to the store to buy some more papers.
Also, another great place to check for coupons - online!
Most grocery stores come with savings cards - I have one to just about every place I shop which automatically saves you money. Websites like safeway.com and albertsons.com have coupons you can load straight from their websites onto your savings cards! It’s awesome!!
I google for coupons - There are amazing websites that you can print coupons off of and save TONS of money!
Match up your coupons to the weekly add and plan your trip before you go! Try to stick to the same store everytime to get comfy with their coupon policies! The coupon policies are changing all the time so you need to stay up to date! You can find them on their websites - If you have to call the store to ask the manager then damnit - do it! It’s their job anyways! :)
So remember…printing online, newspapers & magazines, and store ads…Oh and don’t forget - Savings cards!!

Rite Aid does have an allergy rewards program and +UP rewards which is AWESOME!
The allergy rewards program you have to sign up online and once you spend $75.00 in Benedryl products or Zyrtec products they give you a $20.00 giftcard! It’s amazing. +UP rewards are cool because when you buy something if it gives you…(for example - +3 - that means you have $3 to spend next time in store) - COOL right?!
